m 200 MISDREAVUS © The screech musu, Misdreavous are a rare ghost musu native to the Johto region. We believe this is due to their connection to "blood pearls" which are far less common elsewhere. Blood pearls are red stones that absorb malicious intent and convert it to mana. Misdreavous are believed to be the end result of the pearl's absorbing an excess of emotional energy. Many confuse the musu for having “arms" but in actuality these appendages are just extensions of the musu’s “hair". Which isn't really hair either but we don't know how else to classify it. Misdreavous are most often found in areas of lingering pain, malice or hardship. Common examples include graveyards, abandoned cities and ancient battlefields. Humans dislike Misdreavous since the musu feeds off negative emotions and they’ll sate their hunger by scaring others through various means. Most Misdreavous are somewhat harmless if they aren't agitated. Though there are legends of more powerful forms of the musu from long ago that have been sealed away. If angered, Misdreavous can conjure powerful magical attacks to retaliate. Or even weaponize their screams to deafen or drive mad those that would harm them. sTrainer Tips Attacking Misdreavous does little to deter them, as even if their wispy bodies are destroyed, they'll simply hide in the necklace to recover. It's believed that the only way to "kill" a Misdreavous is to destroy their blood pearls with a sacred square hammer. "Can't you hear the rumble that's calling? Can't you feel us pull together? Can't you feel that you're lost without me?" - The words of a wide spread reoccurring nightmare across Johto, this is thought to be influenced by Misdreavous Threat Level: Medium
