A particular group of human jokesters in the South Eastern Peninsula help them in this endeavor. For fun they'll have biting competitions, usually testing their might on logs or trees. Humans are somewhat wary of Totodile, as they tend to playfully "nibble" on people they're affectionate with. With other Totodile this isn't a big deal but their jaws and teeth can easily rend the human body with minimal effort. Because of this, Totodile that interact with humans will often wear makeshift muzzles if they don't think they can control their urges. Totodile's skin is tough enough to withstand their own bites, which is quite a benchmark. Because of this they can shrug off many physical attacks that would knock humans and other musu unconscious. It also goes without saying that they will bite in self defense and it will hurt.

As mentioned before, Croconaw live away from society, most often in deep swamps and marshes. Though some have been found near coastlines as well. The impetus for most to leave society is their desire to not scare humans. As many human societies have deep rooted prejudice against them. Often believing them to be cannibals, brutes and many other villains in their children's bedtime stories. However, extensive research shows that Croconaw have no greater risk of injuring humans than any musu that is commonly a-ccepted in human settlements. Though the fear from humans continues despite this truth. Croconaw have great potential in combat though most foes are too intimidated to consider attacking them. In addition to their power, within water their speed is exceptional. Allowing them to close the distance between themselves and foes with ease. c cm

Their jaw muscles also become stronger, though the musu typically uses their teeth far less often then their less experienced counterparts. Feraligatr live in swamps and often a-ttract other Croconaw who follow them as leaders. Though Feraligatr seldom take the position seriously, resulting in hijinks. This lackadaisical perspective continues throughout the rest of their lives as well. As they rarely plan or seek out large goals. Choosing instead to relax and do what makes them comfortable. Because of this humans find them less fearsome than Croconaw in general but Feraligatr still don't trust humans very much. With their great strength, Feraligatr rarely bother using anything aside from their sheer force to overwhelm those that threaten their lands or themselves. Though their massive size and reputation is often enough to dissuade those that would do them harm.
