Where there's a hot spring, there's a Swinub! If you want a bond with one you'd better love cold weather but VERY hot baths and a very fuzzy partner!
Piloswine also spend a lot of time in hot springs, but not in the water, they get too hot! They accompany guests and serve them drinks, you might find yourself bonded to one if you hit the mixed baths and they happen to be in the mood!

With their thick coats and strong sense of smell, Swinub can withstand the harsh weather and forage for delicious and rare truffles that grow in the region. Swinub have a particularly close relationship with Piloswine (see following entry) and the pair will work together to form communities around hot-springs in the snowy areas. However, after closer research we've discovered their mana signatures are distinct from Swinub and their physiology is too different for them to be considered the same. One encounters Piloswone in the same frigid areas as Swinub and as previously mentioned in the Swinub entry, they tend to work together in settlements surrounding hot springs. Piloswine tend to handle the more physically demanding tasks around the settlement. Including construction, digging and protection if the need arises for it. Many also take to operating breweries on the springs locations, though this is more because of their preferences than any innate talents. With their impressive strength and greater mastery of earth magicks, Piloswine are a force to be reckoned with.
