These are Mantine, large water musu that launch themselves from the water and glide across the tides. While they are larger than most musu, their demeanor is typically relaxed and easy going. Mantine often aid law enforcement and will act as transport for Remoraid on patrol. Many of the musu perform this act as honorary officers or simply kind citizens but some do put in the extra effort to become officers of the peace themselves. Mantine are typically open to letting others ride with them as well but without strong tentacles to hang on, most others will fall off the musu midair. Many humans find the appearance of Mantine, coupled with their intimidating size off putting. Though the musu's calm demeanor can melt this perception away when one meets them first hand. The sheer scale of Mantine is enough to make most aggressors wary of attacking the musu. This size advantage does give the musu a higher strength than many, though if size is factored into account they aren't particularly powerful.
